A lamprey is also known from Mchishta and Kodori rivers and Bebesyr Lake in Abkhazia (Barach 1960; Elanidze 1983) and from Inguri and Makhindzhauri rivers and rivulets near Batumi further east in Georgia (De Filippi 1865; Kokotshashwili 1942; Barach 1960; Elanidze 1983) but its identification needs to be established (Ref. 82201).".
