„In Gold über einem erniedrigten schwarzen, von drei silbernen Wellenfäden durchzogenen zweispitzigen Berg eine rote zweihenkelige römische Amphore, beseitet von je einem schwarzen, leicht geschwungenen und blau fruchtenden Schlehdornzweig.“[1]

Die Verleihung des Gemeindewappens erfolgte am 22. Juni 2022 mit Wirkung vom 30. Juni 2022.[1]

Die römische Amphore wurde vom vormaligen Wappen der damaligen Gemeinde Bad Gleichenberg übernommen und weist auf die römerzeitliche Nutzung der Heilquellen hin. Die beiden Schlehdornzweige stehen für das Naturschutzgebiet im Trockenbiotop Steinbruch Klausen. Zudem wird der Schlehdorn (Prunus spinosa) von jeher für die Heilkunde, als Nahrungsmittel und für Getränke verwendet. Die beiden Berge im Schildfuß stellen den Gleichenberger Kogel und den Bschaidkogel dar, die drei silbernen Wellenfäden die Heilquellen Bad Gleichenbergs.
English: Coat of arms of the Austrian municipality of Bad Gleichenberg, granted on 22 June 2022. The Roman amphora was adopted from the former coat of arms of the municipality of Bad Gleichenberg and refers to the Roman use of the healing springs. The two blackthorn branches stand for the nature reserve in the dry biotope of the Klausen quarry. In addition, blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) has always been used for medicinal purposes, as food and for drinks. The two mountains in the base of the shield represent the Gleichenberger Kogel and the Bschaidkogel, the three bars wavy Argent the healing springs of Bad Gleichenberg.
